Developers, Civil Engineers, Designers, Architects: Earn up to 12 LEED Points with Aquapave. This permeable pavement system can reduce stormwater runoff quantities and improve water quality. Suitable for parking lots, residential driveways, commercial entrances, sidewalks, plazas and low speed residential roads. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized permeable pavements as a Best Management Practice (BMP) suitable for improving stormwater management. As an effective BMP, the Aquapave Permeable On-Site Stormwater Source Control System can be part of a municipality's stormwater management plan and help achieve compliance with National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulations.
 
The system acts as an infiltration facility for the storage, treatment, and improvement of released water The system lowers construction costs, reduces runoff, recharges the groundwater table, acts as roof water management, manages oil contaminates and filters and treats pollutants. With an open surface area of about 2%, the openings can infiltrate as much as 354 in./hr. It meets the recommendations of ADAAG and is eligible for up to 12 LEED points.
